Barbara moved to Tucson in 1994 from Los Angeles, California. In
Tucson, Barbara found the inspiration in the surrounding Santa Catalina
Mountains and rich historical architecture of the southwest.
Barbara's style is generally representational and is influenced by
the spontaneity and freshness found in plein air paintings. It is a
rare occasion she will be found in the studio. Outdoor excursions with
her favorite golden retriever, Charlie, are her joy. Together they
explore the trails and paths that are found all over the Tucson area.
It a personal passion to share the love of creating with everyone.
Regardless of the result, the process of creative expression is the
gift. Barbara leads a church ministry and teaches classes in ceramics
and painting.
